Two player co-op has been added (for free), allowing players to control Toad and Toadette side by side through the different courses. New courses can be bought through new DLC, with one course available now and the remaining courses available March 13th.

Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake

Originally released in 1993, ‘Link’s Awakening’ was the first ‘Zelda’ game to be released on a mobile platform, the Gameboy. It was also the fourth entry in the overall franchise and a direct sequel to Super Nintendo’s ‘Link to the Past.’

The story follows Link as he ship wrecks on the island of Koholint. In order to escape the island, he must awaken the great whale deity know as the Wind Fish. To accomplish this, Link must scour the island for eight musical instruments.

The remake for the Switch, will feature a new anime opening and an isometric world (with some side-scrolling elements like the original) with 3D touches. Those unfamiliar with the game will notice some of the monsters come from the ‘Super Mario’ franchise, such as Chain Chomp (though here he is known as Bow-wow) and the famous mushroom like Goombas.
